A referral from your General Practitioner is required in order to have a consultation with Dr. Asaid. Please obtain this letter prior to your initial appointment, and bring a copy along with you to your appointment.

Yes. Dr. Asaid is very experienced in dealing with the complex schemes of WorkCover and TAC, and will endeavour to ensure that the process is as streamlined as possible for you.

Yes. Dr. Asaid is available to see uninsured patients. If surgery is necessary, he will be able to refer you to be treated at one of his public hospital affiliations.

Our surgery fees are set in accordance with the Australian Medical Association (AMA) recommended fee schedule. These recommendations are designed to reflect the time, expertise, and complexity involved in providing high-quality medical care.

Before your procedure, we will provide you with clear information about the expected costs, including any fees that are not covered by Medicare or your private health fund. This allows you to understand any potential out-of-pocket expenses in advance and ask questions if anything is unclear.

Consulting with Dr. Asaid about your injury/condition does not necessarily mean that surgery will be recommended and in most instances, surgery will not be required. It is important for you to understand your condition, and be informed about all treatment options available to you. Dr. Asaid works with leading Melbourne Physiotherapy clinics and allied health providers to ensure you have all the treatment options available to you.
